What Is A Nurse Practitioner?

A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a Registered Nurse (RN) who has completed additional education and can function independently within their practice settings. NPs complete physical examinations, order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic test results (such as ultrasounds and x-rays), as well as perform procedures and order and administer medications. Related to medical and cosmetic aesthetics, NPs can independently assess, determine the appropriate dosing or procedure, administer the treatment, and follow up with patients without the need to consult with a physician.

Matthew is in excellent standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Service

Since becoming certified in the provision of injectables back in 2017, Matthew has made a name for himself in the cosmetic community across the GTA. He is an experienced injector and not only has an ever-growing roster of patients and a bustling downtown clinic, but also supports other nurses by providing clinical directorship and oversight, training, and hands-on mentorship for both new and experienced nurses. Learning in the aesthetic industry never stops. Matthew regularly attends conferences, advanced injector seminars, cadaver courses, information sessions and hands-on training with leading physicians and experts both nationally and internationally, to continue to advance his knowledge and skill development.

Royal Treatment’s primary mandate is to provide exceptional service and results, with the highest regard for safety, to patients of all ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations and genders from all walks of life.
